While Emily is in Italy perfecting her cooking skills, she stumbles upon a message in a bottle that will alter the course of her life forever. Now that Paige has made a full recovery from her fever, life in Snuggford has returned to its previous rhythm. That is, until everyone in the Napoli family finds out that Emily's grandfather, Vitto, who has been reported missing is actually still alive and could be in Italy. Edward, Emily's father, is particularly taken aback by the news. It has been years since he and his four brothers have last seen either their father or each other.
